As a freelance translator trading under AnMa Translations, I treat the privacy of my clients very seriously and appropriate security measures are taken up to safeguard their privacy.

This privacy notice explains how and why I collect your personal data, how the data is used, the limited conditions under which the data may be disclosed to others and how it is kept secure. This privacy policy applies to my prospective, current and former clients and other providers and/or supplies of goods related to my business.

What information do I collect?

I collect information and data in order to issue a quote, provide services requested including translation, revision, post-editing and/or transcription, for accounting and invoice purposes. The personal data I collect may include your full name, address, email address(es) and/or phone number. I also collect all information that you share with me with regards to the documents you send me. 

Cookies

Cookies are small data files created by a website and stored on your computer or mobile device. My website uses cookies to analyse user traffic in order to improve the website in the future. You may wish to refuse to accept cookies, however, it may mean that it is not going to work properly. 

How long do I store your personal data?

I store all personal data that you share with me for up to 6 years for UK tax purposes. 

All sensitive data is only stored until completion of a project and then deleted. 

Data security

I will never share any of your personal data unless legally required to do so. Your data is securely stored on a password and firewall protected device that only I have access to.
